Frequently asked questions about Hammermill Library
| Where are the copiers? |
| There are four black-and-white copiers located throughout the library. One is on the main floor (2nd) of the library in the northwest corner, adjacent to Cafe Diem. There are two located near the current periodicals in the Weber Great Room (3R). Another is located on the first floor near the older issues of journals and magazines. If you need color copies, you will need to use the copiers in the DocuCenter located on the lower level of Old Main. |
| Where the restrooms? |
| Women's restrooms are located on the first, second, and third floors and just off the Weber Great Room (3R). Men's restrooms are located on the seond floor and just off the Weber Great Room (3R). |
| Is there a phone I can use? |
| There is a courtesy phone available for campus or local calls near the Reference Desk on the main floor (2nd) of the library. |
| Is there a pencil sharpener, stapler, or paper cutter I can use? |
| Pencil sharpeners, staplers, paper cutters, and other supplies are available for use at the Circulation Desk at the main entrance. |
| What if I don't have my ID with me and want to check out materials? |
| You may not check out materials without presenting a valid Mercyhurst College ID or other photo identification. Please refer to our Circulation Policy. |
| Can I eat and drink in the library? |
| There are very strict rules concerning food and drink in the library. Please refer to our Food and Beverage Policy. |
